When a team has 18 shots on net, even if a lot of them suck, there is a good chance they end up with a goal when one bounces right.

The difference between losing and winning. Oilers were jumping out of the way all night Saturday.

Not the greatest period. Flames need to pick it up.

Well a bit of an aberration having that many shots against, but this Sharks team is skating well and have so much size to handle. Gotta be a little better in our own zone next period.

All Sharks so far. Flames need to crank up the energy and quit standing around.

The Flames are lucky only to be down by one goal.

Flames looking better but seem to still be struggling to shift into that top gear

It blows my mind that Brodie is younger than guys like Colborne and Byron. I am always impressed with so many little things that he does.

Flames playing better this period, but the Sharks are still killing us along the boards with their size. Try as they might, the Flames just can't sustain any kind of pressure in the Sharks' zone.

the difference in speed when they are entering the zone is huge, Sharks come in flying and the Flames aren't moving their feet

The size deficit is readily apparent. Westgarth and McGrattan have less trouble playing against San Jose compared to some of our smaller players.
