I signed up for it back when it was advertised as 10Mbps. I used to only get 5 as well, Shaw said it was a limitation in my area, but that it should be upgraded soon.. and sure enough a couple of months later I started getting 10!

I'm with telus about 7 down and 2 up. So slow but I think it's due to the crappy bundled telus router

Looks like I'm going to have to give a Shaw a call. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be 10Mbps when I signed up too.

Not at home, but I get ~95-99 up and ~9-10 down with BB100 on wired, and variative speeds on WiFi depending on what device I'm using and the standards it has available.

Uhhh...no. You are sooo lucky to be living in Costa Rica, in the jungle, getting 1 mbps.
I'd trade this any ol' day.

Not great, but considering I have High Speed 10, thats better than what I pay for, ha. Having said that the my service over he last month has been dog slow. One of the reasons I'm switching over to Telus this week (the other is Shaw not really being that interested in setting up service in my new home...it's taken over a week for them to even check if my home exists).

Down 11
Up 30.
They should both be 30...
I'm using Shaw Business Solutions and I have a 30 Mbps pipe from my ISP connection off of the SuperNet. So I should be able to get 30 up/down concurrently. Now I'm off to do some troubleshooting...

High Speed 25. Now I'll watch it as it slowly degrades over the next couple of hours to about 2Mb/s.

Try a few different speedtest servers too, I find that for me Calgary ones are pretty crappy, Vancouver and Seattle seem to work better. Though that's for measuring 100Mbps, 30 should be easier to get a server that can handle it.

Shaw BB100.
But I'm currently using hotel WiFi that gets about 5 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up.
