Sharks have done poorly against the bottom dwelling teams all year. Sharks should be playing with desperation - if we don't finish first in the Pacific, we'd have to get by both LA and ANA to get to the WCF. That is a brutal two rounds of hockey.
We need points, you guys need to start losing to get that top pick. Surely we can come to some understanding here....
You guys are having entirely too much fun for a rebuild year :-)

Yeah that is brutal. LA /Anaheim/St.Louis - Boston to the cup is downright gruelling.
I'd be down with a SO/OT loss. Best case scenario for you is if we lose a close high scoring game that way and then roast the Ducks again when they visit in two days. I expect the Sharks to be on full alert here since they need the pts bad, not to mention they got shelled 4-1 last time they played the Flames at the dome.

Coyotes won't be any easier. They are a whole different team come playoff time.

The Flames version of the Red Wings octopus, only more humorous and less disgusting.

Good idea - make sure it is shredded by a skate blade though.

You and I have different definitions of disgusting. I'd rather touch a slimy octopus with my bare hands than an Oiler jersey.

Keep it going tonight boys! Finish the season strong and hammer it into the oilers how an NHL team plays the game. We're here to win every game!

If anyone has a spare Oiler jersey they want to burn.... Ill volunteer to run down just before puck drop and toss it on the ice (after getting permission from security)
I agree that would be a unreal tradition and hit home with oiler fans as they realized the created it.

Is Sid, Agostino? Or am I missing something here..?
Flames play hard and take it to the sharks but come up short with a 2-1 loss.

Someone put a picture of "Sid" and Ken Agostino side by side. Sid, (the sloth from Ice Age), looks like Ken.

I don't like the idea of throwing an Oilers jersey on the ice, might be funny to us but really harsh to their fans. That's just over the top mean, the fans know how much they suck. No need to kick em when they're down, that's just bad karma.

I'm pretty sure security would never, ever allow that.
