OT a bit but how was Ramo last night? Obviously the save pct is great, but was he tested?
Either way, nice to get an easy game for the first one back in 6 weeks. Oilers are good for something at least ...
Lets put it this way: After the Oilers' goal, the only "offensive" highlights NHL.com showed from them was a routine save and Eberle missing the net entirely.
Hall throwing hissy fits = Leadership according to oiler fans..
You're both wrong. Everyone has slammed a water bottle in frustration at some point. That is hardly a hissy fit. But it most certainly is not leadership either.
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
Hall's mentality is just plain awful and Eakins is a fool. He should've thrown Hall out of the game and told him to hit the showers. Why deny it wasn't embarassing? There's a problem if it wasn't.
They should've had a bare knuckle fight on the bench...assert their dominance. Lol Hall probably would have blown his knee out in the process and Eakins would have celebrated with a tray of vegetables and fruit.
What a joke that team is.

I love how Eakins had to change his suit jacket because it got a little wet
Ha ha
He was probably choked that he only bought one of those half price suits at Moores, and might have to spend 20 bucks on dry cleaning. He is clearly ECHL material.

At the 40 second mark Hall says something that causes a teammate to pick his head up and say something, while Eakin's gets angrier. Couldn't have been a good thing.

I actually feel kind of sorry for him. Coaching Edmonton was the worst career decision for him.
After that exchange, you can tell who has control of things for the Oilers...yeah Eakins reacts like a baby, but Hall should never ever run his mouth back. If Hall had apologized it would have went differently...but he talked back to the coach and grabbed some pine like he deserved.

And then Perron gave him a pat on the shoulder. Hard to tell if that was a supportive pat or a shut-the-hell-up pat. I'd love to know what he said.
I wonder if Eakins is beyond the point of no return as far as having the room goes.
