I like that too but don't refs just break the fight up when that happens?

There's no way to just take the visor off quickly is there?
|
Don't take it off then, lift it enough so it'll fall of when you get punched in the face the first time.

no there is not
take each other's helmets off, or talk to the other and take the coincidental in taking the helmet off (both at same time)

nope, the first clip he showed in the segment was a jets/avs fight where the two fighters took their helmets off,
if the players are far apart when they do it, then they probably will

Its attached to the helmet - both guys take the helmet off - take the extra two minutes and get on with it

Like Cherry said, if Gazdic wants to fight someone without a visor, he should take the 2 minute penalty or not fight. Break someone's hand because of some dumbass rule. Not to mention the huge advantage it gives him.

Both fighters get 2 extra minutes added on the 5 they get for fighting... So I guess you could say that he's not allowed to fight either by the rules but he does it anyway

They're supposed to break it up if they take their helmets off, happened a few times at the beginning of the season.
Guess it's another one of those things the refs just forget to enforce sometimes. If players can get away with it then I agree, they should do it. But getting away with it is the exception not the rule, it usually gets broken up.

Ryan Smyth does not strike me as a very intelligent person in general. From all the interviews I've seen from him, he seems like a meathead.

I don't follow the Oilers. Why does he need to wear a visor?

exactly!! just like Cherry's example with Peluso and the other guy. They both took their helmet off at the same time. I don't think Gadzic will agree with taking off his helmet.

Started in the NHL after the visor rule, so he has to.

If one fighter has a visor and the other doesn't, I agree both should take the 2 minute coinsidental minors and fight without helmets.
That said, it means I agree with Don Cherry, thus I must be wrong.

Both guys drop their helmets at the same time like the example cherry showed.

since the new CBA, anyone starting their NHL career after that point requires to have a visor, a grandfather clause
gadzic has no choice

Normally I love to follow both CP and the opposing teams forums while I watch the game. I need to stop doing this for oilers games... Just the lowest of the low over there. Not that I wasn't already aware that those ####s over there are scumbags. Came across this.

Then the refs are supposed to break it up. They just didn't in that one example.

How come every time Glenn Healy opens his mouth I think "this guy is an absolute moron"?
