Default Season Ticket Seat Relocation Question

Hey CP!

I just had a quick question for fellow season ticket holders:

Do second year STH get to participate in the seat relocation event?

Thanks in advance!

We did. There is more than one day, so they go down by seniority. So myself being a 10 year STH, I would be a couple of days before you. Some say that's better, others say it isn't. Even 2 years ago when we moved, we gave up some decent seats to move. So there's always something.

Thanks Ken!

I'm pretty happy with where my seats are (sec. 222, row 21) but if I can move down some rows and closer to sec 219, I'll be thrilled.

When do they usually do the STH relocation event?

Does anyone know if the flames will let 2 accounts swap seats?

Yes, if you ask nicely.

Thanks ken...er..I mean notken, funny question for that username to be answering.

Was just wondering because I've been thinking about downgrading my tickets because my oldest kid really likes going to games and my second kid is almost old enough to start going and it's a little tough to justify paying for whites when they would enjoy the experience just as much in cheaper seats.

Guess I'll throw it out there if any cp'ers are interested in moving to section 212 row 21 aisle seats from either decent greens or the first 3 rows of PL let me know. Tough to give up these seats, because they're centre ice and on the aisle but if the right seats are available I'd be happier to be able to bring my kids to more games.

If anyone is interested let me know.

If you find explain the what and the why, and do it nicely, they'll be ok with it.

Yes, mine was postponed after the flood.

It was later than usual last year because of the lockout. It's usually mid-late May (though, I assume that would change if they made the playoffs).

Post flood, the relocation was delayed and done via phone or directly at the main ticket office. You did not have the opportunity to go to the actual seats to view and grab the "letter" on the available seats.

I called...they asked what section(s) I was interested in and came back with options. I liked this method better. No mad dash. No following the ushers around.

Yes last year was really good, not sure if it was because many cancelled or the method they used but they gave me two options, both of which were very good.
