It's not even just thousands. If he can't be sent down then he will surely hit the 100k mark not counting the signing bonus. Not only that but his AHL salary is 90k next year. His signing bonus is 90k for each year. He will be close to 400k in earnings if not more by this time next year. Not bad for a guy that hasn't played a single pro game yet.

Tempting, but for his benefit, when's he's not at the rink, he should ensure that he finishes his degree. That will the best investment he could make, given that professional hockey can come and go at a split second; it could end any time.

No reason why he can't wrap up his academic responsibilities in the summer while training.

Yup, a very very positive indicator that the kid might be a bit more than a middle tier prospect.

In 2 separate interviews Aggy's talked about throwing some big hits to get started. He was an agitator in College, lets see if he can put his money where his mouth is in the bigs.

Nothing better than seeing new blood stir the pot. Even though he amounted to nothing, those Aliu hits were damn entertaining when the reactions commenced.

Can't be forgetting now, aside from Monahan and Gaudreau, he was one of the few most impressive players in throughout development camp. Really good skater from what I remember. Can't wait to see him play.
