A busy Thursday!

It is 2-1 for the BJs after two periods. The BJs blew

The sharks vs anaheim is gonna be a big one.

The sharks just finished playing 12 games in a row against eastern conference teams. The previous high for the team was 7 in a row. Is 12 in a row some kinda record??

Hemsky really has been excellent for Ottawa. Probably just really relieved to get out of Mulletville.

I honestly think Hemsky could have been an elite player had he left that dumpster fire years ago. Why did he re-sign with the Oilers so many times? Were they holding his parents hostage or something? Maybe there was a reason Jagr wanted to play with him at one point.

Can we get an edit for oilers/sabres game to properly reflect the game. Should read dumpster fire vs grease fire.

Stempniak scored a goal in the Pens game. 2+5 in 8 games so far.

The Devils win 4-3 in overtime. The Wild do get a point in their playoff race.

The Flyers win 4-2 over the Stars. That helps the Flyers in their tight division and wild card race.

The Lightning now lead 5-3, the Habs have tied it at 2-2. Detroit took a 4-3 lead but the Penguins have tied it at 4-4.

Bell Center sounds really quiet. Doesn't have that Hum to it that I usually hear during Canadiens games.

Penguins fans are pretty high on Stempniak. Apparently he was the only one playing like he gave a damn in the 1st.

Man ... the media just never learns when it comes to the Oilers. They're seriously talking about the recent "turnaround in the franchise"

He's fitting really well with Crosby, probably just one of his good streaks right now, but after 8 games it's starting to look like they found the RW version of Kunitz for Crosby.

I was hoping Luongo would make a difference, and that they would actually try to win a few... guess not. Why has tanking become acceptable for so many teams? It's disgraceful really. I mean at least show up occasionally, but most teams seem to put zero effort it once they're out of contention.

I really don't get it at all. How do you not at least win a few here and there? We've been a relative horror show this year and we're still going to fall into the apparent Flames basement of 6th overall.

Next year is going to be worse too. Buffalo might be historically bad, and Carolina is likely going to ship everyone out from the sounds of it.
