It will be interesting to see if they put Kane on LTIR. If so, he has to be out for 10 games and 24 days. 24 days, retro to yesterday, takes them to April 12th. So essentially he would be gone for the season and back for the playoffs.
Do you do that if you are the Hawks?
(I would - run with TT and see what he looks like before the playoffs)

if the reports of him missing at least three weeks are correct, then yeah, absolutely. Bring in Teravainen and let him get 9 of the 12 games. You get Kane back for the playoffs, get to see what Teravainen can do and don't burn a year of his ELC in that scenario ... sounds good to me.

According to AHL transactioins page the Bridgeport Sound Tigers have signed University of Nebraska-Omaha LW/C Ryan Walters and LW Brock Montpetitto an ATO.
Walters was considered to be one of the bigger names last season.

According to Dan Tencer he attended an Oilers game to meet with Oiler's brass last season. (No surprise Oilers lost 3-0 that night)

Great skating 2-way dman with a hard shot from the point.
It also appears that UNH will not get an invite to the NCAA tournament so Van Riemsdyk's season is done.
Will be interesting to see how teams handle TVR since he hasn't played since January.
both Morrison and Van Riemsdyk have the option to go back and play in the NCAA this Fall

Sounds like JVR discouraged his brother from joining the Leafs:

JVR says he didn't push his brother too hard to be a Leaf but did give him some advice. "Too many good young d-men" in Toronto, he says.
