Okay, that settles that then.
Ignore my rambling on about Blaster86 then.
Blaster86: I'm sorry

I guess if Mazrim was a dick he could have made Blaster mafia and have him lie to Flameswin, but if that was the case they would have kept Flameswin alive and used him against his own team

Same could be said about Strombad voting Timbo as well, but that seems more natural to me - if that makes sense.

Strombad voted Regulator instantly last time and never changed his vote, and he ended up being dead on. Makes me trust him, a mafia member wouldn't be so quick to throw one of their own under the bus like that

A good mafia member is always willing to sacrifice one of their own, for the greater good.

From the wiki it looks like really bad etiquette on the mod's part to not at least tell the other Mason the ambiguity of the other Mason's allegiance assuming the latter was part of the mafia.

He was also the first to vote (and revote) for Drake. Like I said, could be positive signs saying he's been lucky picking the right guys from the beginning.
Or the mafia's trap is just that deep.

Mazrim, I don't know if you will answer this, if anyone else knows please chime in.
If a player is replaced, does the new poster take over for the role already established? I just wonder if Sliver is indeed a player (just not invested in the game) could he be replaced and the new person turned into a Mafia?
If this is the case it would be in our interest to get rid of him as we don't want the Scum to gain a new member.

The more I read the wiki the more I believe this game has more layers than we are led to believe.
It is very Machiavellian.

Well if the mafias trap is to kill their own day after day, I hope they keep going with it

It's a very risky game the Mafia would be playing if that's the case, and it hasn't paid dividends yet so it wouldn't make sense for Strombad to continue the same tactic.
Strombad, Sliver, and Blaster86 are players.
UNLESS, Mafia are now snickering that they got away with Sliver not saying a word.

It'd be a crazy play to purposely vote off two fellow mafia members, borderline idiotic just based on the numbers.
That said, Drake was mostly luck, and Regulator I was wary of since his first few posts but wasn't really convinced of his mafia allegiance until the end of Day 1.
I'm going to stick with Timbo on this one. Even his posts are just drenched in "try hard" player junk. I mean come on, stuff like "how does it feel to know we got Bettman management!" and "Great job painting a target on my back management!".
Nobody else here seems to really talk to management like that. It's like he's trying to put as much of a vocal separation between the them as he can.
If he's not management, he's also not a great player. Both reasons in my mind why he's a safe vote.

I agree, and he's posted like that right from the start
Like I said before they're all vague posts redirecting attention, but it's just making him look out of place

Very true. Even if you were to continue on this destructive path, ignoring the possibility of being a management player until later in the game wouldn't have much of an implication this point.

I am choking to stick to Timbo unless he convinces me otherwise. Or we decide on a separate scum.

I'm busy with work today, but I'll try and check in around lunch and provide some more thoughts

I will say that I like Matt GP's idea of giving the condemed man a chance to talk, prior to dying.

Guys, I agree with the Timbo thing, but and by the way nice use of the term Machiavellian.
Players don't use those big words.
But we have time, we have Timbo targeted, and we can drop that vote, maybe squeeze a confession out of him, but I almost think that we hold him in our back pocket and see what happens during the day.
But right now, I am going to post here, that in the absence of any kind of counter evidence Timbo is my guy.
