Chris Butler: 3 assists, +3, 20:04 TOI.
Paul Byron: 2 goals, 1 assist, +4, 16:09 TOI.

The number for our side of the Regehr trade, in just 2 games against Buffalo.
Call it 'Feaster's Revenge'.

Monahan had another quiet but effective night. He’s a guy you have to see live to truly appreciate the positioning and smarts in his game. Notice he continues to wade into scrums now, something we didn’t see in his first 45 games. Hope he gets to 20 soon so we can talk about 25. Might be weighing on him a bit.
This is one thing I appreciate about your game takes. Watching on TV like I do, doesn't give a good insight on a player other than the obvious.

Tyler Wotherspoon is the real deal, and by that I mean a solid, mobile 3-5 guy that is NHL bound. Such a confident, mistake free game he plays, something not usual for his age and pro experience. I would guess they are penciling him in for next year.
I did get to see Wotherspoon just before his call up. He was paired with SOB and seemed to be very steady, solid and complementary to his partner and won his share of puck battles. He made fine outlet passes and isn't limited to shooting the puck off the boards and out. He has the good hockey IQ.

appreciate that man, thanks

Wotherspoon doesn't have that "jitter" to him that you see in young players. Hanowski for example is jittery when he gets the puck, (like his turnover last night).

You don't see that from 20 year olds. You don't see that from 20 year old defensemen.

Exactly. I have been quietly confident that Wotherspoon would turn into a solid player all along. But I have actually been very surprised with his poise in this, his first call-up.

He might be a regular sooner than expected (though there is no need to rush him)
