So is Friday/Sunday. Seems like all the most intriguing games to me will be on the Friday/Sunday.
Excited to see Florida/Pitt and St. Louis/Louisville. I think that the way Pitt and St. Louis play will keep those games close the whole way. If either of those match-ups happen that is.

Seth Davis brought this point up on twitter. Wichita State is better than last year and Louisville is worse. Last year was super close. On one bracket site I saw that (potential) Sweet Sixteen match-up was, as picked by users, a 66-33% split in favour of Louisville. Unfortunately I'm one of those goofs. I'll be cheering for Wichita State though. I'm not a total monster.

I think their demolition of Virginia was huge.

I guess but this is a team that lost to some awful ones including getting swept by A&M. That Virginia win is really the only good win on their schedule.

Yeah, I don't disagree. I also think Virginia is overseeded based on that loss alone. I thought Villanova had a much better case for that last #1 seed.

Great article on Wichita State and why they shouldn't be taken lightly.

Interesting fact: Wichita State played more non-conference tournament teams than any other team in the Midwest region. (BYU, Tennessee, NCCU, St Louis, Tulsa). The heads have been crucifying them for their schedule, but their non-conference strength of schedule is actually 28th. They can't control the conference schedule.

Virginia's conference play was so much stronger than Villanova's though and conference play should be weighted higher. The Big East can't be considered anything more than a high mid major right now. I don't see how they can be a 1 seed after losing both games to Creighton and losing in the first round of their tournament. Winning the ACC regular season and tournament is a pretty strong case for a 1 seed no matter if the ACC is down a bit this year or not.

Great points. And they didn't just lose to Creighton, they were hammered both in Philly and in Omaha.

I see Twitter breaking over this one. People taunting Duke, Duke fans being pissed, people being pissed about their brackets being cooked. It's gonna be heavy traffic in the Twitterverse.

Pathetic
At least I have free time now for the next two weeks.
Why they felt the need to take so many stupid 3s against a team most Canada JV women's team could beat is beyond me.
Good riddance Rodney Hood although tough to imagine many NBA teams want him after that effort.

haha, stupid A10 bashing coach K can't even beat Mercer. Even gifting them a home game for their 26-8 record (with no road ooc games) can't help them out! What a ridiculously over-rated team they are this year.
