I think the Flames are just in better shape than most teams. Huge props to Hartley knowing that could even the playing field.

Complete and total domination by the Flames in that period. Love the fight in this team! Hopefully they have enough in the tank to keep it up in the 3rd.

18 - 6 in favor of Flames for SOG in 2nd.

For the first half of the period PHX only had 1 SOG.

Flames got their legs back. They dominated the 2nd period and could have scored at least 3 or 4 goals. Backlund, Bouma, Glencross, Galliardi, Cammy and Monahan was buzzing the whole 2nd period. Hope it continues in the next period.

Has anyone been keeping track of how many times that teams have given up 2 goal leads vs the Flames this season?

Why would he sign here for cheap?

And if there is one thing Burke struggles without besides drafting, it's signing free agents to good contracts.

You are a very negative person. He hasn't performed super well this year, so why would he still command $6M a year? I'm not sure contracts work how you think they work.

I'm willing to bet a few teams are regretting not offering up more for Cammalleri.

He wouldn't have much of a choice. I like Cammy, but he's not a $6M player anymore. I don't see the Flames signing him for anything more than 4.

Yeah, that's fair value, but we all know he will get severely overpaid as a UFA.

So why stay with a team that has no chance at the playoffs when you can get paid to play on a contender?

I will bet anything with the cap going up he can get 6M as a UFA.
