I also lurk alot and post little in general, thought keeping a low profile regardless of role would be the right way to play the game / stay alive. This is a start at least. Everyone was so divided on how to vote that we weren't getting anywhere.

I think everyone should keep captain crunch in the back of their minds too. That ones more of a "post pattern" hunch than anything.

Think about cc, what's he known for on cp? He really likes posting long form story style posts. He always has something to say.

Then he signs up for this game, which would be right up his alley for discussing the mysteries of who's who and he does a complete 180 in posting style?

Again, just a hunch, but I'll bet he's management or his we'll known posting style would be present and he'd be posting often, IMO.

After a long day that started much like the rest of the negotiations had started, the group assembled in that strange room finally came to a consensus.

"This is what management would want us to do! We need to unite against them!" said one.
"What about telling everyone what we know? We could head off anyone against right away!" argued another.

Suddenly, the momentum shifted and everyone decided that the best course of action would be against the quiet ones. Those who weren't contributing couldn't be trusted, they decided.

"Guys, really...why me? I haven't stirred the pot! I can help, I really can!" Drake pleaded with the group as sweat appeared on his brow.

"Sorry man, but someone has to be the one right now." said someone in the back.

"You guys will regret this! The NHL will not stand for their kind going down to you!!" Drake said, as he was dragged to the TV port, and as the group saw before, an electric shock suddenly came out and fried Drake to a crisp.

The group was shocked when they discovered the true identity of Drake. Behind a mask of John Tavares had been the face of Sidney Crosby! Why was the best player in the game siding with management? What did the NHL do to get him on their side? Who else had defected?

They didn't get too much time to consider these questions though, as shortly after that, an opening appeared in the seamless wall nearby and issued a dark cloud of gas. Before long, everyone had passed out.

The night, or what could be best described in the windowless room as night, passed. It came to a surprise to most when they woke up the next morning to find the room a very different place. The best way to describe the situation was that the room had...shifted. Walls were in different places, and decorations were hung at random. And something else more sinister had occured...

Off to one corner sat flameswin, slumped over and a pool of blood surrounding the body, his throat cut in his sleep.

On the opposite end of the room, underneath a corner table, the group found another body...this one silenced and stuffed into the corner in the hopes of not being noticed immediately. They identified him as Oling_Roachinen, shot in the head.

Two bodies...this was unnerving to most of the room. While there was quiet discussions in small groups about what happened, the large screen in the room turned on again.

NEGOTIATIONS ARE NOT SMOOTH HERE. NOT IMPRESSED.

After that message disappeared, another appeared...this new one looking quite different from the previous ones.



Things were getting stranger by the minute. Why were they getting these new messages? Who put everyone in this place? What was their ultimate goal?

A devastating night for the players, and that gas has given me a blinding headache, beyond the fact that obviously that someone that could be a player or owner is killing people with impunity we're no closer to a deal that works best for the fans.

I mean, to be honest as I sit here slugging back bourbon and I'm looking across the room at Undercover Brother who earlier talked about liberties and then later on questions the ultimate authority.

That sounds like a guy with a definite plan hiding behind a cloak of indecision.

To me he's beginning to sound like that dude in the white suit in the ninja action movies, he stands there doing nothing and then all of a sudden he jumps into action and you end up dealing with a room full of dead bodies.
