If the Flames are playing Mac, expect a loss. GlenX pots a goal.
Regardless, GO FLAMES GO!

Really want to move down the rankings after no help OOT last night? I wonder if Joey was/is actually in the dog house for his comments previously and if it actually made them not play him.

As far as I'm concerned he's still in the doghouse. It's Dallas playing st home for first time since Rich collapsed on the bench and he just showed up to greet the guys at practice. It will be an emotional game for them and we all know how the last two Dallas games went.
JMac being set up for the fall.

I think people made way too much out of those comments at the time, and at this point I think a lot of people have lost all context. It's almost become a CP meme now.

Loving the March sked with all these Friday-Saturday games
Always root for the boys but if the Stars win it makes things that much more difficult for Vancouver to squeeze into te last wildcard spot. Won't w disappointed if we go 0-2 this weekend

Calgary lost 5-1 and 7-3 in the last two games against Dallas. Glad Hartley is putting MacDonald in net tonight, as Dallas just seems to have the Flames' number and I would rather not have Ortio go through that at this stage in his development.
Both teams should be up for this one - Calgary wanting some retribution for their last two losses, Dallas emotional over Peverly as Gaskal said above. Just hoping for a close one here.

I really hope Mac plays tonight if Hartley is planning on using both goalies for this back-to-back. I'd rather watch Ortio play in Phoenix when I go to the game.

Sounds like guaranteed win weekend for Calgary!

Completely agree, I never feel like that was confirmed in any capacity and the circumstances of his AHL transfer right after them made it seem possible.
I feel like there's no way an average guy who's hated by management gets to start in the NHL?

Well, this is his first start since then, and it's only happening because of injuries, trades, and back-to-back games

I feel like this is a combination of being destroyed by Benn/Seguin last two games and the intent of not wanting to hang Ortio out to dry against an energized Dallas team clinging onto a wildcard spot. Very little to do with JMac himself.

I'm still pissed from the last two contests and how Seguin and Benn made us look on those nights. Embarrassing and revenge needs to be exacted. Hoping the kids light them up in their own building.
I also hope someone flattens Seguin so that he knows he won't be feasting on us again in the future before paying a price.

Vancouver is chasing Dallas, a Stars win screws the Canucks, Hartley continues to give the Canucks the middle finger by starting MacDonald.
Well played Hartley, well played.

Flames will win this game for sure.
Joey Mac might even pitch a shutout.
