Was bonefishing on the flat adjacent to the Honolulu international airport and had a personal air show watching 6 mid air re fulling birds, 4 F-18's, 8 F-16's, and 20 F-22's.
(Totals may be off as I lost count but ther were going up 4 and 6 at a time) due to cloud cover they were banking out right over us. Also 4 transport planes that looked like stubby C130's and one military personnel plane. Have some photos that I will upload when I get home. Is there anywhere I could look to see how many and what aircraft actually departed yesterday? Time was 0720 to about 1400 local.

I would have needed a change of shorts after seeing that
I'm assuming Birmingham is bad in particular because there's only one runway so they can't change runways based on wind direction? Also, how come the runway is so hilly (for lack of a better term)?

All runways are uneven like that (terrain, slope for water drainage, etc), however it is the telephoto lens he is filming with that compresses that part of the image making it look more dramatic. Same thing happens when taking pics with a telephoto lens, backgrounds look closer.
