Here's hoping Raptor Jesus is alright. Hate to see this kind of thing happen. Shades of Jiri Fischer/Cherapanov.

I hope it's just something like low blood sugar. I'm reading into the quick update from Ruff. That would be the best case.

He was diagnosed with A-Fib (sp) last week. then a few days later didnt play against CLB with heart issues. Obviously this could be a career threatening issue.
EDIT: I am getting this info from listening to the announcers on the Dallas feed.

Can't imagine they'll continue this game. Everyone seems pretty shocked and out of it.
Edit: Sounds like it has indeed been postponed.

Yup. Good move by the league and the teams. Right call cancelling the game.

He was not feeling well recently but the heart issues arose earlier.

Rich Peverley, one of the Stars' new centermen acquired this offseason, is going to miss the rest of training camp and perhaps the beginning of the season. Thankfully, that's all he'll miss.
The Stars announced on Friday that Peverley is going to be out for three weeks after having a procedur to fix an irregular heartbeat. The issue was discovered in the pre-camp physical he took on Wednesday and has since been taken care of.
"We sent him to a specialist and it ended up he had an A-fib condition [atrial fibrillation], which is where the heart gets out of rhythm," Stars GM Jim Nill said. "He had a procedure done. He's going to be out for three weeks and should be available close to the start of the season, might miss one or two games."

At this point, I think teams and family need to pump the brakes for Peverly and slow him down. That kind of heart condition doesnt help much for athletes.

things happen, the issues may of cleared up and he was cleared because he could of shown a picture of health when he was cleared to play.
Sometimes even the most healthy people will have an issue suddenly, it happens and is unfortunate.
I hope he can continue to play hockey.

If this all turns out well, this is going to be the go-to "NHL players are tougher than any other sport" event. Dude nearly dies and wants back in.
