Oh and Hrudey really embarrassed himself tonight with all the Lack and Burrows love. Lack is a glorified backup and Burrows is one of the most despicable players to ever play in the NHL and what he's going through is not bad luck it's what has been coming to him for years.

That was a hard fought, well played game. Proud, no matter the outcome. All I ask is they work hard and compete.

first off....
the canucks starting goalie let's in goals from guys like gratton from center ice... think about that for a second
second, cammalleri sucks. i don't want him on this team next season unless he's willing to take 3rd line winger pay, which he won't. of course, flames have to sign him at this point, and here's why we should have traded him for ANYTHING we could get at the deadline.
He's only as good as his one timer/shot, and that seems to be gone.

So happy that Ortio is showing he has confidence in his game, and is already showing signs he will be a good goalie this early in his career. He hasn't been shelled yet, which is a good sign for us fans after years of Irving and Mcelhinney trying to find their game backing up Kipper.

One of those games that you lose in spite of the effort. The Canucks except for maybe 2 good spurts are pretty terrible. They were bailed out by Lack tonight.
These are games that the flames will start winning if they get more skill in the lineup combined with this work effort.
I hate losing to the Nucks though.

You watch, Van will go on a 5 game winning streak. Oh well I hope they squeak into the playoffs and then get destroyed.

The love for Lack was way overblown...Flames had 23 shots, a couple good chances, missed an open net, and scored from half. Hardly a great performance
two terrible teams out there tonight...Canucks can't get more than 14 shots against a year one rebuild team with 8 rookies in the lineup lol

Does Cammy have something in is contract that guarantees him ice time? Because based on his performance he should get 30 seconds per game.

Doubtful. They got outplayed by a tired Flames team icing 8 Heat players. You can stick a fork in them as they aren't going to win much more games down the stretch. They really do look like a McDavid contender in 2014.

did anything you saw tonight suggest that the Canucks have a hope in hell of making the playoffs? 14 shots against an AHL team on the 2nd night of back to backs

I don't think Van is as bad as they've been playing this year. I'm hoping they squeak into the post season or miss it by 1 point though, not completely tank.
