Not surprised that Granlund throws some hits but I am pleased with his defensive strength.

Feel the Flames needed to be up by a goal at this point to win - they will be even more tired next period.

Given how lifeless the canucks have been, would have hoped for more than just a center-ice bomb goal.

Perhaps they will surprise in the 3rd.

What a boring game. The Flames all seem to have stone hands tonight and can't score to save their lives, and the Canucks are just plain awful. Flames need to pick up the energy in the 3rd, or this thing has OT/shootout written all over it.

+1! Put a finisher with Backlund, not a guy that is finished!

terrible game, more embarrassing for the Canucks who thought they were contenders playing against a team of 8 rookies and getting outplayed

Ryan Pike ‏@RyanNPike 56s Tyler Wotherspoon's having a really quietly good game. First NHL point, 4 shot blocks, 9:35 TOI through 40. #Flames

I remember earlier in the Colborne thread his tendency to pass rather than shoot was being discussed. Guess we're seeing it again tonight.

Need bigger and meaner D to help out Ortio. Other teams are starting to figure it out. Doesn't help that he's into his net when there's a crowd.

Backs - Monahan?

We do have an abundance of centers though, hmm...

I'm guessing we should get used to that for his impending career.

Cammy silences the critics by notching the only two goals of the third period. Flames win3-1. Book it!

Ok, I'm pretty ignorant of the sport (and I don't want to take anything away from these athletes), but it seems like being a goaltender in Sledge Hockey is just masochistic.

He needs to push out more when he senses the crease is crowded.

Stay above the goal line. Force yourself above that, and search and dig for the puck!

In the instance on the goal, above the line pushing forward with the leg extended, it doesn't go in. It'll take time.
