incredibly (/sadly) only 2 first rounders that time; and this time - although hopefully that outlook will change soon with the current group

The highlight for me tonight is the fact that they're wearing the retros.
It's nice when you get to cheer on the team wearing the prettier jerseys (which is rarely the case for us these days). And getting to watch the kids and Kipper's baby clone again? Gonna soak it all up.

Going to the game tonight, thanks to Lord Carnage. Will cheer on the Flames loud.

The Islanders are a miserable excuse for a franchise and I'm almost certain they will lose tonight. If not for the Oilers they'd be running away with the title of laughing stock of the NHL.

I agree totally. Flames management at the time was in a total shambles and this was during the era when it was not even known if hockey would survive in some Canadian cities.
And for those who only remember how he left, and not how he played, and what he accomplished as a Flame, well check out his acceptance speech when he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and listen to how he speaks and acknowledge his fellow players, his coaches, the Flames owners, Cliff Fletcher and the like.

Nieuwendyk was the real deal, awesome player, one of the best centers the Flames have ever had suit up, and a gentleman through and through.

Yeah but just the audio, it's on more than just SNW too.
Edit: no it's the video being pixilated now too. It's been more than 30 minutes, so this will likely be on during the game too. 12 more years!

Is this sportsnet issue only a Shaw thing or do Telus subscribers have the same thing?

Experiencing issues with Shaw here.
Is anyone else excited to see all the main components of the Erixon deal in this game? Granlund, Wotherspoon, and we can include Smid as well.
