Thanks guys. We'd also consider renting it out as furnished too if anyone is interested. The furniture would be a bit different probably as we're taking some of it with us, but my wife is an interior designer so I'm sure she could make it look nice.

It's sunny as hell (South AND west exposure), we barely ever use our lights.

I'd go farther and say no hardwood near a water source.

Very nice place, I know someone looking, will see what his price range is.

Yes and no, as long as people know the risks involved with hardwood in the kitchen it's not a big deal. Boards can easily be replaced by a pro in a few minutes.

Ah ok, that makes a lot of sense actually. It's laminate flooring, so nothing too fancy, but a good idea in terms of longevity for sure.

Any other tips? ha
