They're neck and neck, but Principe at least realizes he's a goof-off. And, if you watch the broadcast from beginning to end, you get him for 2-6 minutes a game, not an hour and a half.

Still 2-6 minutes too much

I think he gets one more year. I do however think Gillis is done after the season. Just a terrible GM.

I'd say there's a serious threat the Flames catch the Canucks.

Who would've thought the Canucks could get another top 5 pick before the Flames ever get one.

Yeah probably even more than one at that amount, then again there's worst things, like paying Burrows $6 million this year for his grand total of 5 assists

It was too funny. I also liked it when he pretty much said no one likes losing but don't blame Craig he's only been here for a year. No mention of Lowe or the previous years of losing.

Looks to me that the Nucks are trying to catch the Oily skid marks in the tanking department.

I'm actually proud that we aren't embarrassing ourselves like these other franchises.

"a two goal deficit is nothing for this team"

(what's his name, the Oiler colour guy)

Yeah, you're right - it'll be a 5 goal deficit soon enough

Edit: Debrusk

Did Debrusk really just say a 2 goal deficit is nothing for this Oiler team?

It is nothing...most often than not the past few years, a 3 or 4 goal deficit is the norm by this point.

Would be curious to see the Oilers record losing by 2 after one period. With the amount of goals they have let in this year it is probably something like 2-30.

I really had to chuckle about that. It's hilarious that the Oilers still have the reputation of a talented team that can score in bunches, when in reality they are softer than a pile of feathers and couldn't score on John Gillies.

Hey... don't be so rough on the Oilers... they've got 7 shots halfway through the game against a juggernaut lineup featuring guys like Anders Lee and Mike Halmo.
