These kids are alright I say. I'm genuinely excited for the next couple of years. There's something good going on with these kids here.

what a great game. This is why the Flames will never be successful tankers - just too much pride. Love the hard work and energy. Kudos to Troy G Ward, he has done an amazing job. All those callups have been absolutely ready when they got the call.

True. He has done a great job.
But Hartley has gotten a bunch of nobodies to buy into a system and play with heart. Bouma is a great example.
The whole chain is strongly linked together. Ward has done a great job for years, but Hartley is now linking it together with the big club.

Abbotsford and Texas are tied at 1 just starting the 2nd period. Battle for first place in the west iirc

As per the old setup, it was played right after the goal horn ends. Seemed better fitting.

Both deserve credit. Hartley has done a good job, don't know how long he sticks around but he's got this team working hard.

It's not the greatest hockey, but the effort is fantastic.

Agreed, he's the best coach in the AHL and should of been in talks for hiring a coach out of the ahl instead of Eakins.

No, Texas is currently 4 points up on Abbotsford. A win would put us in 4th in the Western Conference, 2nd in West Division.

I was hoping he would get one on that even though it is the secondary

Stats after 2.
Also made my Granlund image a bit smaller, was too much wasted space in there.
