bet the "college prospect" is Kevin Gravel
EDIT: or not. Fasching looked like a steal at the draft to me (most lists had him in the 2nd round) and he has been excellent this season (I've followed him because I drafted him in the CPHL  ). Depending on the "Manchester prospect", could be a really nice return for Buffalo

Pending trade call, sounds like BUF sends Brayden McNabb and two 2nd round picks to LA for two prospects - one of them Hudson Fasching.

Deslauriers has been on fire since being shifted to LW ... McNabb and two 2nds would be HUGE price though for Deslauriers and Fasching

That is pretty crazy on Buffalo's part. Although with all the picks they had they had to move some for more immediate help that is closer to the NHL.

I feel like the two second round picks is a bit much -- one, sure, but two? Bit steep.
Oh well, we have gazillions of picks and it's not bad to get some guys who have developed and seen their stock go up. A second round pick from the next few drafts wouldn't be seeing the NHL any time soon, probably less chance than these two players have. McNabb was expendable with all of our D prospects.

I think this is the worst trade today.
The Sabres got taken to the cleaners. I like Fasching quite a bit but he is worth maybe a 2nd round pick on his own and McNabb is also significantly better than Deslauriers if you ask me. Then to top it off the Sabres give up an extra second.
The other kid is just an expiring contract that is not even a god ECHLer that was sent to open up a roster spot for the Sabres.
