I Wonder if Timmy T is all stressed out tonight, not only against his old team but a rival has just joined his team to take his job.

He's having a very impressive year, I believe that's his 17th goal. Always liked his game in New York, and not all that surprised Amnisov is turning into a solid top six player. Columbus actually got some good value out of the Nash trade even if Erixon doesn't turn out, as Dubinsky is another really good player.

The other question is whether Thomas will pump Luongo's tires or not.

Games that impact us:

Florida about to lose to Boston. Really hoping Luongo motivates this team down the stretch.

NYI beating Winnipeg 2-1 with a few mins left in the 2nd.

Ottawa/Edmonton just starting.

Columbus just moved into 8th in the East. 1 point up on Detroit, with the Wings have a game in hand.

1-0 for the Yotes. Hopefully that is the first of many against Lack tonight. Phoenix has gone 3-7 in their last 10 but have almost caught Vancouver in the standings and will pass them with a win tonight.

I've been giggling over this Vancouver situation all day. A loss for them would really make me sleep well tonight.

Bertuzzi scored on the power play for Detroit and tied the game 3-3. Gionta scored the winning goal for the Devils with 37 seconds left in regulation time, 4-3 Devils.

The Penguins-Predators game is interesting. It was scoreless after the first period and then 27 seconds into the second period, Niskanen scored for the Penguins and then twelve seconds later Hornqvist tied the game, 1-1. Rinne is back in net for the Predators after his extensive injury.
