I am disappointed that Vancouver has started their rebuild. I was hoping that they'd continue to suck for another 3-4 years before blowing it up.

That's what they get for not starting him in the stupid stadium game.

Would Vancouver take Markstrom off of their hands?

Wow this is huge.

Very happy for Luongo, he handled the whole situation like a pro and Vancouver tried to push him again this year.

Maybe it's Markstrom and Khulikov?

Markstrom has had his own fall from grace. Kind of a good hockey move for both sides and players.

Never been a Markström fan. This should be good for Florida.

Edit. Nevermind. They just changed the tweet to say the opposite. Markstrom+ for Luongo

Getting anything for Luongo is basically a win for Vancouver at this juncture.

Surprised a team like Florida is willing to take on that contract. Glad Luongo is out of that trainwreck though, really like him and thought he was treated unfairly in Vancouver.

Schneider trade was a FUBAR but before Schneider made the jump to the big team and Lack got injured, Lack was tracking as the better prospect. It's still early but I think Schneider will have a better career.

It took them a very long time to find a taker for Luongo.. It could be that the rumors were true from the draft last off-season and Roberto still wanted out after the Schneider deal

I am 100% Happy for Luongo

I dont think anyone was at fault with the last few years, but he handled backing up Schnieder and then not being moved like a complete pro

and now he gets to go to the place he wanted to go all along, glad it worked out
