Can't wait to finally see Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Soundgarden. Most of the other bands I like will be for at least the second time (Volbeat, A7X, Offspring, Megadeth, Dropkick Murphys, Anthrax, Black Stone Cherry). Never seen Buckcherry though, looking forward to that. And Seether of course, my favourite band. Was at a concert two years ago and they hung out later at the bar and had a beer with us fans, that was simply incredible.
How could this year’s 70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise (featuring Carcass, The Haunted, Death Angel, Fear Factory, Overkill, Symphony X, Obituary and many others) get any better? Well even though the metal festival cruise is less than a month away from setting sail, it appears there’s a few more big names to be added, including Death To All (the touring tribute act featuring former members of Death paying tribute to the late Chuck Schuldiner)
Hey ECF, any idea what Royksopp and Robyn shows are like? They'd for sure play Robyn's hits right? Dancing on My Own, Be Mine, With Every Heartbeat type stuff...
Yeah, I would assume it would be heavy on the Robyn material. They are apparently releasing an album together sometime this year, so that would be a better indication of the type of stuff they will be playing.
This is a tune they did together a while back for a Royksopp album:
