New game, take a drink every time the play dies on Cammalleri's stick. You'll be sloshed by the 1st intermission.

He is truly one of those players who needs to be spoon fed scoring opportunities which will not be happening to him in Calgary.

Cammalleri's a fantastic complementary player, but he needs to play with skilled guys. He doesn't drive the offense and create the chances himself, but he's good at finishing them.
He'll play much better and put up more points with a contending team down the stretch once traded.

Maybe to Boston, play with Bergeron?
Bruins are a pretty well-oiled machine right now, though, and I'm not sure what they'd be willing to give up...

Backs sacrificing the body to block a shot, what a guy.

Wonderful recognition by Russell that Backlund was hurting, so jumped into the rush allowing the puck carrier an easy outlet and tip-in for a line change.
Otherwise the defender stands up on the red line and causes an odd-man rush as Backlund was slow to get to the bench.
Little plays like that; Russell is the real deal.

That's why Cammy would be great in Anaheim or Pittsburgh. He'll be fed pucks constantly.

Stupid Cammy! if only he didn't turn back, and just kept skating. Could've been a tap in there.

I have no doubt Cammalleri will show up in the playoffs for whatever team he gets traded to. He always shows up for big games. It's the games in between that make him frustrating.

Who knows; Cammalleri would probably be pretty rejuvenated to play with his buddy Iginla again.
His defensive shortcomings won't be a problem in Boston either. Iginla's looked alright defensively in their structure and system too.
Hopefully a team does offer up a 1st or blue chip prospect. A trade would be a win for the Flames, the other team, and Cammalleri.

I've been a Stempniak fan but he seems a bit lost lately. Tonight he looks off, losing puck. Any trade value?

I've always thought Stempniak was a bit streaky - I think a lot of people think that. When he's 'off' - he's not a terribly effective player...

Monahan and Hudler are the only two building blocks they can come up with?
