Does anyone know how many female pilots are employed by WestJet? And/or a percentage of all pilots? It is obviously traditionally a male-dominated profession. It is depressing that such outdated attitudes still exist.

I am assuming it wasn't a Canadian passenger based on the odd spelling of "honor".

Could just be an anti-monarchist refusing to use the Queens english.

Considering the writing quality and the referencing of Proverbs I can't say I'm surprised.

Or he's just an idiot all-around, whether it's his spelling or his attitude towards women.

My last flight with WestJet was an all-female crew up front. My last trip to Houston on United: all-female crew up front, and all-male FA's. Couldn't believe it.

According to the captain's facebook page, his name is "David" and he was sitting in seat 12E. It should be pretty easy for anyone with access to the passenger manifest to identify the guy. I hope WestJet stands up for their employee and bans this moron from future flights.

I wonder how much this guy cringes every time a male flight attendant floats on by.

I'm not generally a pessimist, but this latest picture from SXM has me cringing at the thought of the slaughter in the event someone came up short...

It's very likely this guy is going to find himself on the WS "no fly" list.

Well Asiana doesn't fly to SXM, so we're safe for now.

Is this story confirmed yet? I don't think Westjet would have been to thrilled to have one of their pilots start an internet war, regardless of who's in the right. I haven't seen much chatter from my freinds who are westjet pilots. I'm suspisous.
nm. Google is my freind. haha
