Rob Brown on post game show on 630 CHED - "I still think the Oilers will finish ahead of the Flames by seasons end." The fan boy media in that city never changes.

Default Monahan - Family in Newfoundland?

Did I mishear or did Sean Monahan just mention having family in Newfoundland?

Every time I hear stuff about the oilers I think of people rising up cheering " Four more years!, Four more years!"

Edmonton Oilers ‏@EdmontonOilers 18m "We've still got to find more offence. We'll go straight back to that in practice... Our top guys have to generate more." - Coach Eakins

Didn't they have an optional practice today?

Ben Scrivens seems like a really nice guy.

Impressive interview with Scrivens. Sounds like a smart guy. Too bad he plays for such a hopeless team, although even he sounded like he was not sold on signing on for more of that circus.

Agreed, pretty likeable guy, despite the Oilers jersey

Oilers didn't deserve a point in that game. Flames took it to them most of the night. Nice to see the forwards taking the puck to the net. If we could score it would have been ugly.

Oilers look terrible, their forwards were invincible.

Monahan with the most goals on our team... he is either really good or we really suck. How often does it happen that a rookie is the leading scorer?

Combination of both. Aside from Hudler, there hasn't been a vet (forwards) that's been consistent in producing through the whole season.

He has grown on me. I know it's popular to hate on anyone related to the CBC (except Cherry), but he's actually one of my favourite hockey personalities.

I agree. I like that he actually has a personality, even if it's over the top a lot of the time, I enjoy listening to him.
