Rematch in 3 weeks. Hope Grats lays out Gazdic in a fight, and demolishes Ference with a big hit

  • The powerplay stinks. Time for a better strategy than the outside winger cycling with the two defenseman back and forth, back and forth, back and forth..
  • Mark Giordano is a fantastic captain. Boy did he ever take to the C like a champ.
  • Sean Monahan >>> Oilers superstar forwards.
  • Berra is a serviceable NHL goaltender. He's not starting material but I really like him as an NHL backup. Sign him to a two year extension and run with him and Ramo next year. After a rough start both have been fairly solid and haven't been outright bad.
  • Mike Cammalleri is s**t. Seriously what is wrong with you?
  • Dennis Wideman is s**t. You get paid well but you just aren't very good at doing what you are paid for.
  • Oilers suck! Despite all the above and all the media love you recieve, you still aren't as good as the Flames.

It is so nice to see the Edmonton kids acting like kids and crying when they get outworked / touched, then you see our kids working their tails off, drawing penalties, not over reacting when they score.

The attitude our young guys have is going to go a long ways for this Flames team.

How are they supposed to score when they never have the pucks?

Good coaching by Hartley to get Byron out there late in the game. He had a couple of good shifts despite hardly playing during the game.

Some awful defense overall by the oilers with the flames having significant more scoring chances but awful finish by the flames. Need to cash in on some of those chances. We need our "primary" scorers to finish.

No point in sinking to their level.

Have to check, but I don't think Colborne got another shift after the Perron goal.

No matter how my head says the Flames should be losing these games, I jump out of my seat whenever they score.

I won't be sad if they lose, but winning still feels damn good.

Bizarre the early adoration Healy had for all thing Oilers. Though he's one of those dix who doesn't watch many Western games and must have been reading the preseason notes for his schtick.

Someone must have handed him the standings about halfway through the second because he shut up pretty quick.
