Fishing?

Any of you guys fish? Fly fish or anything? I just bought a pontoon boat and really want to get out to a nice trout lake. Anyone know of any good spots?

I love fishing. I try to get out as much as possible. We just got a new (used)aluminum boat as well and took it out last night for a test run to make sure everything is good to go.

We went out to Chain Lakes last night down on highway 22. I caught 5 Rainbows and my bro caught 1. We had TONS more bites though. We seemed to lose quite a few for some reason. Regardless it is a good lake that will keep you entertained for a day. There isn't many big fish in there but they stock it well so there is lots of them.

The Upper and Lower Kananaskis lakes seem to be popular for Trout fishing as well. They don't have the numbers of Chain lakes but the fish seem to be much bigger.

I can't comment on Fly fishing as I haven't tried it yet.

Love Fly fishing have been doing it all my life, learned it from my dad, who is one damn good fly fisherman, any who as far as “good spots” well the Bow is one of the best Rivers in the world but if you prefer lakes, Lake A is good, but think its private and you need a membership I mostly hike into mountain lake, Bear pond, Marble like etc. try that its always worth it
