Spoiler due to size, but here's an updated list showing where Markus Granlund (and I added Knight and Hanowski as they have a rather significant showing on the list now) stands against the Flames AHL Teams all-time rookie scoring list.
Spoiler!

Too funny... Gio... what a slug!
Marty St. Louis too. Unless you look at Pts/GP--that's probably the better metric.
I look at the 4 main goalies for the Heat this season and where they are headed. It's a longer read, so it should help tie us over until they play next.
As per @MCaddd, Joey Mac is back practicing with the #AHLHeat today.

- Gillies is out 3-4 weeks.
- Joey MacDonald was back to full practice.
- Ward hopes to have Street and Locke back for this weekend. Didn't participate in full practice though.
- Sieloff is living/training in Vancouver. He checks in with the Heat training staff every once and a while. Ward was unsure whether he'll play again this season.
- MacDermid's time with the Heat is done due to "personal issues."
- Lafranchise is fully healthy too. He had full practice this morning.
- Ward wasn't sure whether he'll go with Roy or MacDonald this weekend. Wants to give Joey a chance to see what he can do in practice first.

There's no real urgency to terminate him. He is an RFA after this season and the Flames are at 48 contracts. They aren't paying him while he is suspended so it's a no loss situation at this point.
It's not like Howse where it was the start of the season and so that was a contract space they could use ASAP in a free agent signing. Unless some deal comes through as a 2 for 1 (unlikely with what we are selling), it probably won't factor in.
Any chance the Flames enact termination waivers on MacDermid?
I think the chances are slim. They don't really need to, usually if teams do this it's to free up money or contract spots. While he is suspended he won't get paid anyways and we have lots of contract spots.
I think all of them will get the Hanowski treatment. Signed, play a Handful of games, sort it out next year whether they stay up or play AHL.
the only reason Hanowski got the "Hanowski treatment" was because the season ended later than usual. The season ends 2 weeks earlier than last year and the Frozen Four ends a day or 2 before the Flames season.
It is not crazy to think that there is a chance all of Arnold, Gaudreau and Agostino will be playing in the Frozen Four.

I see. So if they are in the frozen four they can be signed to play for Abby in the playoffs whilst sliding their contracts?
Let's hope for that. Frozen Four and playoff reinforcements for the Heat.
