In the Pitt International Airport there is a big display with a montage of Mr. Rogers that read "Pittsburgh is Mr. Rogers Neighborhood". It was sweet.

Man, did he ever have it right. We just bombard kids with crap (marketing) with little regard except for making them want to buy the shows lunch box, or blanket or halloween costume. And my friends wonder why I am so selective as to what my kid watches.
