Kane can go home and look at his two Cup rings, Conn Smythe, and Calder. At least he's still a winner, Kesler and Kessel on the other hand...

K I read this whole thread, those that are saying Crosby is not playing well and Kunitz had a bad game, what were you watching? They were dangerous all night with multiple chances. Quick was either stellar or just bad luck on the part of Canada.

Price was good but Quick was better he made 2-3 incredible saves, the thing with Quick is he makes it look easy but he is the only reason this game didn't get away from the U.S.

Gotta agree with this. Kunitz also had a very underrated game on the defensive side of the puck. He did not have one giveaway the whole game and was forechecking with a ton of speed.

I'm waiting for Tyler to eat crow after he ripped JaBo and called him a plug and said he sucks. Not holding my breath though. I have never seen a better blueline than Canada's top six. C'mon Tyler, Magnum came clean, its your turn.

I too agree wholeheartedly even though I wasn't a fan of the Kunitz selection at the time, now feel that he has been a calming influence on Sid and the two of them with Bergeron have made a great 2B line for Canada. If not for Quick, it would have easily been 3 zip in the middle of the 3rd period.

GO CANADA!

Someone said that Crosby, Chris Kunitz and Patrice Bergeron out-chanced the Americans 10-3 at even strength. That's pretty damn good.

He did make a nice pass. Typical J-Bo fashion though - afraid to shoot on goal and intentionally shoot wide. I do still hate the guy though. LOL

Hate on him all ya want, but he's a true top pairing D who has always answered the call to play for Canada, winning the World Championship two years in a row.

Canada vs Sweden for the Gold Medal made me wonder one thing, what's Corey Hirsch up to these days?

Apparently, I wasn't the only one: https://twitter.com/CoreyHirsch

Was so nice watching this live on American soil (San Jose) and having most people go for the Americans and Pavelski. Having Marleau and Vlasic on the team was extra special as it reminded them of who won and where they are from haha. Was beautiful to watch the Canadians stifling defense shut down the Americans. I've been so impressed with the coverage in our defensive zone. They just shut down the opposition and give them nothing. Price looks cool as a cucumber as well in net. I really like his personality too, he is so nonchalant.

Can't wait till Sunday! Canada is better then Sweden and if they play how they did today, we will win. Lundqvist is capable of stealing a game but all we have to do is play our game. Go Canada! Absolutely great tournament from the blueline in.

Oh man, that would work out perfectly! The hotel has CBC. Thanks.

No, I don't have a laptop to bring but yeah, that's a damn good option. I've been watching all the games/replays online at home because I have "cut the cord."

Jayocal, I am not sure how you will be able get to your hotel without hearing all the cheers of jubilation from the front desk, or from the hotel bar open early!

Not enough Kesler crying pictures / gifs guys. I remember the gold medal game thread back in 2010 and it was filled with them!

Hahah, I love Kerr's reaction to Jermain Franklin's dumb question at 0:40.
