Yes. Quite often the North American teams will just play the 18 that they're used to even if they dress the full 20 - or they use the extra for specialist roles like on the power-play or penalty kill only. Just easier to keep the other guys in the game that way.

St. Louis is a mystery though. Jamie Benn plays 16 min, and St. Louis zero. Nothign against Benn, who had a great game; but can't imagine what it would be to bench a player like St. Louis for the whole game.
Categorically false. Don't listen to the Toronto media. There isn't a more liked guy in his own locker room than PK. Great teammate.

I've watched almost every game he's played the last 4 years. I've seen him get emotional about twice in that time period. He's got great focus, this year is the best I've seen him. His new goalie coach has him playing great.

pretty comfortable in the end. Americans never really had the puck and were reduced to the outside. Canadian defenders had no trouble at all.

Russia, Sweden, Americans and possibly Finland. I see a 5th place finish for Canada.

Nailed it.

Sheesh. That's almost as bad as HS33's Kings series predictions.

Its bad, but really, nothing will ever beat that post regarding Canucks-Kings. I've never seen a bigger crow having to be eaten. A very satisfying CP moment.

And don't forget, Canada hasn't won Gold yet.

I want a gold but will be happy with silver. As long as we beat the US it is all good.

Almost completed the Golden double/double.

In case people are wondering, a Golden double/double = gold medal sweep of both men's and women's hockey and curling.

I think this should be a term going forward into future olympics.

As awesome as this game was, I still want the gold. I remember '86 when people were saying "We beat the Oilers, the Stanley cup doesn't matter." WRONG!!

Anyway:

I didn't know Price was married until today. If i was a star Canadiens player, I wouldn't get married until I was retired.
