Eating crow. Canada played as close to a perfect game as you can get. Beautiful to watch.

I can honestly say I wasn't that nervous watching that game. Canada looked so smooth . They were right on the puck and the D was off the hook. They shut them down.

Did anyone else never even feel threatened? I mean yeah it was a 1 goal game, but it was obvious Canada's defense was in complete control.

Why? So Getzlaf could call him "bronze" the next time Ottawa plays Anaheim?

Canada was much better, but a 1 goal lead sure wasn't safe.

Yep, despite the 1-0 score it was a pretty dominant effort. They even had 4 pp's and didn't even get a sniff of a chance. To be fair I thought the Americans did a overly effective job at shutting down Canada as well, especially with their lesser defensive core.

I was worried because bad breaks happen all the time. But Canada looked in control for the majority of the game.

A clinical defensive performance. Perhaps one of the greatest examples in modern history.
It's so cliche but D does win championships. Goals often come down to bounces, so if you go in knowing that you only need 1 or 2 goals your chances are pretty good.

I passionately love that Luongo isn't getting any action when it matters most.
