26 game point streak...

1 goal each so far for Gaudreau and Arnold. BC is up 3-1 late in the second.

Tim Harrison has an assist tonight. Colgate is up 4-2 over Union in the second. There's a chance Colgate could get an invite to the NCAA Championship tournament.

Agostino has an assist tonight. Yale is up 4-2 over Princeton in the second.

DeBlouw made his return to the MSU line-up last night after missing more than a month (not sure if he was injured, or what). He had no points in two games this weekend.

EDIT:

Forgot about Providence. They currently trail 2-0 to Notre Dame after 2. Obviously, nothing for any of the Flames picks.

Also, BC now leads 4-1 late in the second. Arnold and Gaudreau each with an assist on BC's fourth goal (scored by Hayes...of course).

Was looking through Providence Friar stats. It is interesting to see John Gilmour doing so well points wise. 5 goals and 12 assists in 29 games leading him to being 4th on the team, in terms of points.

Anyone watch him? Does he help create the offense?

Eagles win 5-3 and clinch first overall in Hockey East. 1G/1A each for Gaudreau and Arnold.

3 point game for Agostino (2G/1A) as Yale defeated Princeton 7-5.

1 assist for Harrison as Colgate and Union tie at 4.

Providence lost 3-0 to Notre Dame. With 4 games left, it's looking likely that the Friars are going to have to play in the preliminary round of the Hockey East playoffs. It has been quite a drop for the Friars in 2014, after spending the early part of the year near the top of the national rankings. They are 2-6-3 since the start of the New Year.

This is easily the most intriguing pick the flames have had in years. Caught me off guard at the time but he's done nothing but impress statistically all year. The big question is what does he become, he's clearly not just a passive player with the PIM he racks up.

How many rookies go a PPG in their first AHL season? Can't be that common. Markus Granlund is almost there...

Cory Conacher in 2011-12 is the last to finish at a point per game (I only looked at the top 40 in league scoring though)

Ryan Strome is also killing it this year as a rookie, he has 46 points in 34 games so far.

I really feel bad for Ferland and Sieloff. Would have been awesome to see them both on the team. Ferland was doing well for a while there until his injury and Sieloff has had a horribly unlucky season with his staph infection. Hope he can get back to where he was physically before the infection.

From what we have seen in the media and talked about on this forum, it seems like Sieloff is back on the mend, I believe hitting the weights currently, and should be able to compete at training camp.

Sucks for him to lose a full year of development, but if he stays hungry there is no reason why he couldn't get back to where he left off.

Ferland I worry about more. He had such confidence issues in the past, I know that he has to work extra hard and has worked extra hard to compete.. then he gets a set back like this. I am not worried about him bouncing back physically, but more mentally. Just glad we have such a good young group down there that seem to be very close. Good group of guys for him to lean on.

early schedule in the dub today. Morgan Klimchuk had 1+1 in a 4-0 win over Brandon. Nothing for Kanzig, Roy and Gordon.

I believe Sieloff is expected to return to the Heat in March (anyone confirm?). I think I read somewhere (or in one of the interviews with Ward) that Sieloff is on the mend, and that they will slowly bring him up to game shape and start getting him games around that time.

Well now that he's back working out I'd think he should be able to get up to speed before the season ends. The Heat should hopefully have a nice playoff run and it'd be great if Sieloff was a big part of that.

It's going to take Sieloff a long time to get back into game shape. Keep in mind the guy was so ill he wasn't allowed to even break a sweat. For months.

If he gets any game time before training camp next season it will be a bonus.

For those that think Ortio can be the next Kiprusoff, I found this very peculiar.

Kiprusoff - http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id...vid=nhl-search

Ortio - http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id...vid=nhl-search

Obviously, we all don't know if Ortio will ever become as good as Kipper, but looking at their personal bios being very similar is interesting to me. They both were weren't even drafted early at all either.

Also, Kipper is part owner of TPS Turku now, and I believe Tod Button said that he was the one who recommended the Flames scouts take a look at Ortio.

They even both have the same kind of crooked smile.
