Players are also making appeals for suggestions how to pass the time offering up an autographed puck for the best suggestion.

AHL is always a good mix of nationalities, figure out who has nailed the most chicks in each Province/State/Country.

Well the good news is they are still okay (not part of why there is flashing lights in any way whatsoever).
The bad news is the trip is getting longer due to running into accidents along the way:

They are bussing from Chicago to Raleigh as all flights into Raleigh were cancelled yesterday and probably full today.
The Guys (less 2) all made it to Chicago yesterday so they got a bus and are driving down to hopefully make it to the game tomorrow.

Yes. They couldn't get a flight so they are bussing. On hour 5 or 6 right now I think.

Ortio just posted an update. 8 hours later they have gone from Chicago to just crossing the Ohio/Virginia border. Still have 8 hours (in ideal conditions) to Raleigh.

They'll be too tired to play tomorrow, that's just plain not fair.

So according to Chad Billins they are down to 6 hours travel time left.
In ideal conditions, they should have arrived in Raleigh in about 90 minutes.

The roads here are clear and it is not expected to get below freezing tonight so the remainder of the drive shouldn't be too bad. After snow, then freezing rain, and then more snow, today was in the low to mid teens (Celsius) so most of the snow melted and roads are clear.
I've made the drive from Nebraska to North Carolina multiple times and can't imagine being expected to compete at the highest level almost right off the bus.
Still really looking forward to getting a chance to see them play tomorrow.

I believe he suggested they make a "Flash us" sign to show to the female passengers going by.
