Could I make a movie called Black Chicks, starring me, being racist towards Black Women, and not get lambasted?

I liked it but mainly due to Terry Crews.

Just a few that stand out to me as quite surprising.

We all have our own tastes, but wow, surprised by some choices in here.

Me?

White Chicks
Meet the Parents
The Happening

Those three movies should be shot into the sun along with the writers and directors.
In what world was the happening a movie that people liked? It made decent coin despite the overall reviews from critics and fans, but I have a hard time considering that a movie that was liked by a majority of people.

Ugh, here we go again. It was a big name movie that made pretty decent coin. People went and watched it. Some I spoke with liked it. How, I have no idea as it was a brutal, brutal movie, but I read good reviews of it as well. Not everyone liked it of course, but enough.

You're doing it wrong. These aren't supposed to be "movies you disliked that one or two people liked", it's movies that EVERYONE liked.

The Happening is widely regarded as awful, it is sitting at 17% on RT. Certified ROTTEN.

White Chicks? Same deal, except it's 15%.

Those are both terrible movies that pretty much nobody liked.

There is no way to prove EVERYONE liked a movie. Just because the rating at RT is higher doesn't mean EVERYONE liked the movie.

I'm doing it just fine thank you. Carry on...

Both movies made almost 100M each. Obviously SOME people liked them. As in the case of White Chicks, they are doing a sequel. My stepdaughter in her mid 20's and all her friends loved the first one.

Sure, but you named two of the worst reviewed movies that are widely regarded as awful.

So if that's your version of a movie "everyone liked" I would HATE to see what kind of movie constitutes a movie everyone hates.

I turned Iron Man off half way. Pretty much any comic book movie I am not really a fan of.

But alas, you are confusing what "real" people like compared to "supposedly professional" reviews. Two completely different things.

But...here's one for you then, Titanic. I just don't get it. I thought it was boring, slow and just plain awful.

-Ferris Bueler's day off. Everytime I've seen it I haven't laughed a single time. I don't know how it got such a cult classic following.

-All the Harry Potters

-There's a couple exceptions, but most of the old classic Disney movies. Can't stand them.

-Sean of the Dead. Saw it in theatres and I must have been the only guy not laughing.

So funny the different tastes out there. I've seen it countless times and I howl all the way through it every time.

"He'll just keep calling and calling..."
"Never had one lesson"

lol...

I don't understand how anyone can hate the original SW trilogy. But seems to be coming up a lot here. The prequels I can understand.. but you must truly hate anything sci-fi or with imagination if you can't at least enjoy those movies.

No, you're doing it wrong. You keep on missing the point, but keep it up, it's actually kinda funny to see how stubborn you are on this.

Does that mean someone liked The Number 23 then? God that movie was total garbage. I didn't think anyone liked it though.

I find it even funnier how you are trying to prove that I'm being stubborn on this. Carry on...

Most Michael Fassbender movies though I like his characters in them. The worst has to be The Counsellor. I need happy endings. That was not

I'm not trying to prove it, pretty evident in your posts.

Happening was a well received movie and definitely qualifies for this thread as a movie everyone liked. You're right. Carry on.
