Whenever I think you can't possibly out due yourself you come up with some real gems.
Are you also that guy that doesn't do something because you know you won't win at it?
Being an olympic athlete is an accomplishment in itself, sure someone may have finished 40-50th but that makes them better then over 7 billion other people in the world!
Don't minimize the accomplishment of being an Olympic athlete.
You RGMG's with your bull####

Stuff like this Really Grinds My Gears, come on CBC, be better than this.
And no, tacking "when it's safe to do so" onto the end doesn't change the fact that you're encouraging people to take pictures & send tweets while driving through a GD accident scene.

I disagree with this, specially when it comes to the Winter Olympics. Some of these sports are so unique that i suspect half the world hasn't even heard of them. As an example, how many people in Canada do you think have actually done Ski Jumping? I suspect the competition to make the team was probably between no more then twenty people. Now i'm not saying those people don't train hard or that they are very good at what they do (or insane in this case) but the likelihood of them being top 50 in the world doesn't compare to most other careers/sports.

WRGMG is when people call themselves a philanthropist.
I feel like that's something people have to be called instead of appointing themselves to that social status.

There are certain requirements that must be met before a sport is even considered to become an olympic sport. Most notably the sport has to be popular throughout many countries spanning a few continents.
Quote:
A prospective Olympic sport should be recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for several years and must also reach certain standards of activity, competition and membership around the world before passing through a provisional status for about two years. . . .Many sports are not included in the Olympic program but are “recognized” by the IOC. A sport is added to the list of recognized Olympic sports if the IOC determines that it is widely practiced around the world. That is, the number of countries that compete in a given sport is the indicator of the sport’s prevalence. Accordingly, the sport must be widely practiced in at least 75 countries on four continents for men’s summer sports, 40 countries on three continents for women’s summer sports, and 25 countries on three continents for winter sports.

Poke a small hole in the top of the foil to relieve the pressure before peeling it.

Yesterday EVERYTHING REALLY GINDED MY GEARS. I'm not sure how many of you get this but yesterday I woke up in a foul mood and just couldn't shake it. Everything pissed me off. The only way I got rid of it was to leave work early, go have a nap and then go have a workout.

That cheap ass Styrofoam that is used in packaging from Asia. The stuff that crumbles when you touch it. You end up with little balls of styrofoam stuck to everything and it is almost impossible to clean up as static electricity makes them stick to everything.
