A win is all that matters. They'll get better as they get going.
I bet tomorrow we'll see a better team for 60 minutes.

It's their first day, give 'em a break.
That was a good game. I'll take that over 8-0 any time.

That could be a hell of a powerplay blueline, I dont know if I'd want that 5-on-5 though.

Nothing wrong with that for game 1, took a period to feel things out and got increasingly better as the game went on.
Only faced 20 shots, but I thought Price looked pretty good as well.

Canadians getting used to having space to make a move out there before getting rid of the puck.
Once they figured that out they had pressure the rest of the time.

Definitely want to see Duchene and Subban next game.

He was boasting about this being a 7-1 tuneup game for Canada, disrespected Norway and then started incoherently rambling on about Henderson and something he did in 1972.

Nash was awesome in that game. Super dependable.
Kunitz doesn't look like he belongs. Willing to give him another opportunity to show something, but duchene should sub in for him.

Carter looked like he usually does. Unfortunately he always looks like he isn't trying out there but I'm not convinced that is the case. He alternates looking lackadaisical with looking exceptionally dangerous.

I don't know if I make any changes on D.

Yeah, I would go with Vlassic. Either Carter, Nash or Kunitz should sit

Both right handed, they will likely not skate together at all, maybe on powerplays but even then I doubt it.

I cant believe Kunitz made this team. Feasting off Crosby's saucer passes is one thing in the NHL but this is a whole different ball game. I really hope he proves me wrong because I like him as a player, but he just looks like he doesnt fit.

I'm putting it down as a tuneup game. Expected more especially seeing how easily the Americans won. But no disaster so oh well. But I fully expect a much better performance tomorrow.

Norway played very well. The coach had them all on the same page, the goalie wasn't a funnel, I knew it would be close. On paper, it should be a blowout.

Henderson and 72 is where Grapes' brain has been stuck for 40 years. He has nothing to add to any broadcast.
