Makes sense, didn't see that the American guy had #34, which obviously can't be his ranking. Is this the last event on the slopestyle course?

I still can't believe this happened.

Wow, I am really surprised Brown didn't land that. He was looking good.

Finals started. Brown falls on first run attempting a triple.

Course looks like spring skiing!

Um

Henrik Harlaut just did a nose butter triple.

For reference, last year that was the best trick in skiing BIG AIR, no one has ever even tried it in a slope comp. No one's even considered it.

That trick wins the comp.

If he does that again I don't see how he can lose.

I hope to see more of him after the games. He should be Fallon's first guest on The Tonight Show or host SNL or something.

Between this event and short-track starting in 25 minutes, I am going to be really amped up this morning.

Hopefully the Canadian guy goes for it on the first time and hits the triple. He might as well with no one else doing a perfect run quite yet.

I am getting really tired of "430".

Edit: "250" now too. Ugh. Someone needs to go back to math school.

Wow, now that's a nice run.

Or not... according to the judges.

Nick Goepper just won olymic gold... I think. Harlaut's run could still beat it but that was ridiculous.

EDIT: Holy ####, that wasn't just a double cork genie, it was a double cork DOUBLE genie, and then mute to japan on the triple... what the hell, man. That's the best run ever landed in the history of ski slopestyle.

How was that run not a higher score than Christensen's 2nd run in qualifying? It's like Christensen is today's Sage Kotsenburg.

No, they'll score differently for finals. Everyone will get bumped down. If Joss does his quali run again it'll get 85.

I'm not kidding when I say that was the best run in the history of the sport. And yes it's conceivable he could still lose.

Going to be tough for the Canadian to pass these last few scores.
