Is it wrong for me to hope the Germans totally screw up?

Not exactly the Olympic spirit, but oh well.

Women's start house - Woman starts first, at the bottom she hits a pad and a gate at the top opens, then the male slides, hits the pad, gate opens and doubles team goes. Hits the pad and stops the clock.

Germany, Canada and Russia should do well. Possibly Italy as well.

Yup. I believe luge and bobsled are the only sports in the world measured to the thousandth of a second.

I'm happy to see the Canadians finishing so well in luge (best finish ever in a luge event, with Alex Gough's finish yesterday). But it's also slightly disappointing to be SO close.

USA also has an outside chance but I don't like how Mazder and Terdiman/Niccum have slid this week.

favourable scheduling for Jacobs. A BYE in the previous round to regroup and now stomping against the Russians. Mabye he can get back on track now.
