It's stuff like this that makes me sad I changed my avatar from the Burrows Bitey and lost the original. 4 years old and still relevant.

You don't do that to the NHL second leading scorer.

Where is Tie Domi? He needs a one game contract against the Canucks so he can deal with Burrows like he did Samuelsson; I really don't understand why this doesn't happen more often.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tie_Domi

Quote:
New York Rangers defenceman Ulf Samuelsson was famously knocked unconscious by a sucker punch to the face from Domi. Domi received an eight-game suspension and a fine for the incident, described by some as one of the cheapest shots in NHL history.[1] Domi insisted that Samuelsson provoked the punch by repeatedly calling him "dummy".

Erm, because Bertuzzi did it, and it almost ruined his life. Cold-cocking an unsuspecting player is more cowardly and ridiculous than pulling some hair.

When I saw that scrum, I noticed someone pulling Kessel's hair. Silly me, I didn't know who it was. Burrows continues to maintain his stellar reputation in the league.

Erm, buzz killer.

I would settle for a heads up beating where the guy tells Burrows what he is going to do and just does it. Likely well worth the penalty and subsequent suspension if the offending party is a goon.

Also, pretty sure Bertuzzi's life is just fine. He has earned somewhere in the neighborhood of $30,000,000 since the incident and enjoyed a long career. The upcoming lawsuit won't break him.

I know you were just trying to shoehorn a Kesselbrag in there, but that's actually unacceptable regardless of a player's scoring prowess.

Leafs fans, I tell ya.

Oh well at least with his career in a major downturn I expect to see less and less of him as he gets less and less ice time in the last years of his career. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy to see his career take a 180 nosedive.

I had to look at the date to make sure that a thread about a Canuck pulling hair was, in fact, a NEW thread. It seems like they do this kind of stuff frequently.

Is Burrows the highest paid player in the league with more than 5 games played to score as many goals in the NHL as I have this season? I hope Gillis is too stubborn to buy him out this summer.

68 shots on net without a goal is pretty impressive too.

Value contract to boat anchor in no time flat.

The best part is Burrows has 3 more years at 4.5mil AAV with a NTC (not that anybody would be interested in trading for this dbag)

Probably the only reason why Burrows gets an in invite home is that he's bringing a check to his mom and dad.

He's really the Justin Bieber of hockey, unlikable, a d##che bag and his best days are behind him, but while fans will look on with glee at the future where are they now Justin Bieber documentary, nobody not even his family will care where Burrows goes.

Is it any surprise that when Torts shutdown the diving BS, that Burrows game went to hell, and he lost all value?

I remember a few weeks ago when he was coming back from injury, TEAM1040 referred to him as the "WHITE KNIGHT" who could save the season once plugged in on the top line with the Sedins'!

Hahaha I think he's getting around 12min/game ice time and will be out of the league in short order!
