I take so much joy in the Canucks losing streak. I just wish one of these teams that have a chance to jump over them in the standings will actually win that game that they need to do it... Feels like the opposite of all those seasons where we wanted those teams to lose so we could hold that spot and they kept winning. Instead, they can't win that game to make the leap.

Phoenix and Dallas are both one point back of Vancouver and they play each other Saturday night. As long as Toronto does their part on Saturday, the Nucks won't be in a playoff spot going into the Olympics.

Phoenix has 3 games in hand on the Nucks, Dallas has 2 games in hand.

6 game losing streak and going to be out of a playoff spot any day. Wonder how much Mike Gillis will panic before the trade deadline?

Tortorella was an awful choice.

I'd like to think that in a year in which the Flames aren't able to make much of an impact on the ice, they took a starring role in the pushing of the Canucks, out of the playoffs.

Dustin Brown just absolutely clobbered some poor Blue Jacket. Got a penalty, but I'm not sure he deserved one.

The Canucks fall from grace is absolutely delicious.

....and with that idiot Mike Gillis running the show, I see no way for them to turn it around anytime soon.

Yum, yum, yum, D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S.

Holy hell just looked at the standings... Phoenix is 1 point back of Vancouver with 3 games in hand, while Dallas is also 1 point back with 2!

Looks like the clock has struck midnight on Daryl Sutter. The Canucks have gained 4 points on the Kings over the past 10 games. It's let teams back into the race, but no one has been able to unseed eitherof these teams yet.

If Columbus holds on they will go from 10th to 7th. Thats a pretty close race happening in the East.

The bullseye is definitely on the Canucks with both the Kings and Wild winning in OT and pulling ahead. The Jets lost their game and missed the chance to tie the Canucks. The Jets are 2 points back and have no games in hand. The Predators lost in OT and are now just 3 back of the Canucks and have 1 game in hand.
