Holy wow, those are four sweet goals. Forehand and backhand in close and wrister from far out, he can shoot from any where and the speed leaves D men behind.

Looking forward to seeing him on the flames.

Just ridiculous... all great goals. That last one has got to be a candidate for CHL goal of the year if such a thing exists.

Any remaining flames fans that think we should of taken Shinkaruk can start slapping themselves in the face. Just amazing stick work from a guy who's got size and incredible speed AND is a RWer!!!

his stat line cracks me up.

PPG: 5
SHG: 8
GWG: 8

Not very often that a guy will score less PP goals than shorties and game-winners very encouraging!

Without watching him play very much, this stat line alone makes it safe to assume he generates most of his scoring chances with his speed off the rush. If there was a stat for Breakaways per game I'm sure he'd be the leader.

Tools: decent size, blazing speed, grit, great shot, filthy moves, and a hound-dog thirst for the puck...

There are a lot of NHL-potential tools in that set.

But he's no Shinkaruk! /gt

That last goal was absolutely filthy! I am excited to see if he can pull off those moves against NHL defenders one day ala a young Rick Nash.

Also, did the third goal go top shelf on the right and drop down on the left? I can't quite make it out here.

I am salivating at the thought of a Gaudreau-Monahan-Poirier line.

In sureloss' post summarizing Todd Button's assessment of the Flames prospects I think this was actually mentioned.

Emile seems to get a short handed breakaway every game.

And the GWG stat makes me wonder if Flames have another Gélinas.
