EDIT: Also just realized I created it incorrectly with the whole prefix thing... oh well. Also didn't even put the date in the subject.

ESPN Classic had game 7 of CGY-VAN 2004 on a while back, so I recorded it. The superblwl was such a waste of time, I decided to watch it instead. It's easy to forget what a beast Iginla was in his prime; in that game her scored 2 and assisted on the OT winner, each one of them with a power move to the net. He was unstoppable. Don't know why he got away from that game before age dictated it -- I feel like just a couple years later he was a perimeter player -- but when he played that game, he was one of the best. Nice memory and a chance to be reminded how lucky we were to have the guy.

A beautiful play. Makes a good pass to set up a 3 on 2 then drives the net and takes the defencemen with him and leaves Lucic wide open in the slot. Text book 3 on 2.

Hoping iginla gets a Gordie Howe hat trick tonight... But I doubt any of the Canucks will have the guts to fight him. I bet iggy wants to beat down Kesler for the dislocated finger.

Daniel misses on the shorthanded breakaway then the Bruins go up the ice and Iginla buries it. Couldn't script it better.

Bruins' first line is fantastic; they have pretty much everything you could ever want out of a top 3.
