Oh and in all of this, Ben Street has been returned to the Heat: http://abbotsfordheat.com/news/?article_id=746
We might need all that firepower to make up for the hole we potentially have in net for a few games.

Ward had nothing but praise for Olivier Roy's compete during practices. He was extremely impressed by his ability to frustrate shooters at practice and raise his teammates' effort level to try and beat him.
Let's hope he does well this week because it's going to be a busy one.

Wouldn't it just be perfect if Roy came in and had better stats than Brossoit had in either Abbotsford or OKC?

I suspect he will. The Heat's roster is ridiculous right now. When the goal scorers are scoring (they are) the Heat are a tough team to beat.

Heemskerk is one of the best goalies that we've seen in Quad City in years, including those that played for the Quad City Flames. This will be his fourth AHL call up this season.
Stupid Calgary, even when they're not running my team, they still screw up the roster.

Look at the dedication from Bob Hartley! Right there behind the glass scouting him like the champ he is.

So, 15 forwards, 10 d-men and 3 goalies on the roster now for 28 total?
Who's still hurt?
Foster, Ferland, Lafranchise, Sieloff and MacDonald?
Granlund - Street - Jones
Baertschi - Locke - Reinhart
Jooris - Knight - Olson
Gillies - Bancks - MacDermid
That look about right? Hopefully it isn't right, and Hanowski gets to dress instead of the goon.

Only one correction: Top line is going to be Reinhart-Granlund-Jones. No way they break up the Reinhart/Granlund duo.
And totally agree with Hanowski getting the nod over the goon.
I'm hoping the lines are:
Reinhart-Granlund-Jones
Baertschi - Street - Locke*
Jooris - Knight - Hanowski
Olson - Bancks - MacDermid
Billins-O'Brien
Ramage-Smith
Arsene-Lamb
Roy
Heemskeerk
*Street/Locke might be switched. We have centres everywhere, I can't keep up with who actually gets to play C on any night.

I know its nitpicking but Jooris will play RW and Hanowski left, same with Olson (rw) and MacDermid (lw), maybe even Olson plays center and Bancks to his natural wing position too.
So many damn options!

No Wotherspoon tonight? Injury? Healthy scratch?

Line 4 is more likely
Gillies - Bancks - MacDermid
Ward said the request from up top is to structure the line up in a similar fashion, so expect both #truculence players to draw in.
Hanowski is the likely scratch. Third line will have Olson and Jooris around Knight so one of them will have to play on the off wing.
Top six is definitely a combo of Reinhart - Granlund - Jones / Baertschi - Street - Locke

not happy at all about Hanowski being scratched in favour of a goon just so that Mr. Truculence is happy.

It's not so bad. The roster is ultra competitive right now. You've gotta produce to play. Hanowski can learn a lot from the internal competition I figure. So he's a healthy scratch for a couple games in his rookie season while he's not performing, that's just the same as every other player ever.

It's definitely not the worst problem the Heat could have. It is a pain when trying to guess lines though. He moves players around so much and yea, I'm starting to lose track of who goes where.

I guess Wotherspoon and Ramage are interchangeable. Too many good, healthy D.
