Burrows with a dirty hit on the numbers on Zetterberg in the dying seconds head first into the boards.

I'm not a huge fan of Shorthouse (don't like his voice), but the guy they've got tonight is absolutely horrible. WHL quality commentating.

Also, I forget who said it, but it is ironic that the Red Wings and their fans celebrate success by singing a song about wanting to be anywhere but Detroit.

Hopefully the Bruins lay a beating on the Canucks tomorrow night. The way both teams are playing Canucks will get smoked.

The similarities to the 2009 Flames grow stronger by the day.

I can see Iginla challenging Kesler to a re-match after he got away lucky last time when Jarome messed up his finger!

Columbus leading the Ducks 1-0 in the first.

Ryan Johansen has the Jackets' goal, his 23rd. What a year for him.

Joey Kenward did the play-by-play tonight in the absence of Shorthouse who attended the Super Bowl yesterday.

Vancouver loses, gets shutout in Tortorella's return. Now three games under .500

Edmonton allows 44 shots to the Buffalo Sabres. Let that sink in.

Good night for Flames fans in the OOT.

So if my math is correct, the Oil have allowed 144 shots in their last 3 games, but have also won 2 of those 3 games. That's special.

Poor David Booth. Torts says after the game that David Booth was their best forward........that's good for Booth, but not good for the team.

Ouch.

Not a happy Torts:

“@BradZiemer: Torts: "We need to change the complexion of our hockey club, either with our play or with different people." #Canucks”

“@BradZiemer: More Torts: "we looked like a slow hockey team tonight." #Canucks”

It's interesting 'cause the Vancouver assistant who was managing the team while Torts was out made a similar comment after one of their games, saying something along the lines of their roster doesn't have the personnel to score goals so they have to make due and play perfect defensively to give themselves a chance.

Almost sounds like they're calling Gillis out.

Man Doughty is on fire tonight. Almost just got his second, not to mention he has been close to getting a couple assists. Super stoked we have a player like him on team Canada.
